15th Annual West Coast Nonprofit Data Conference

April 27-28, 2018
Salt Lake City, Utah
Brigham Young University (Salt Lake Campus)

We’re excited for you to join us in Salt Lake City! If you haven’t already let us know you are planning to attend, please drop us a quick note via e-mail and we’ll add you to our list of attendees! If you are on the conference program or have already notified us by e-mail, we are planning on you.
A few things as you prepare for the conference:
There are two events for which we need you to register. These are the no-host dinner on the evening of Friday the 27th (at a cost of $20 per person, which you can pay online when you provide your RSVP), and the free, optional pre-conference event (a tour of Welfare Square Friday the 27th at 1:00 pm). Please register for these events at this website: https://marriottschool.byu.edu/event/wcnpdataconf2018

As you prepare your presentation for the conference, please remember to focus on innovations, applications, and questions regarding the data and methods of your study. In keeping with the spirit of the conference, we encourage presenters and audience members to pay special attention to to these issues.

To that end, it will help if you will send your paper or presentation (full drafts, extended abstracts, or slides) to wcdc.slc@gmail.com by April 18th. This will allow everyone to familiarize themselves with the content of your study in advance so that our discussion at the conference can be on issues related to data and methods. Save your material in pdf format and title the file with the last name(s) of the presenting author(s), followed by a key word or two (e.g., “wightman witesman child sector choice.pdf”). We’ll then upload the files to Dropbox and send/post a link in advance of the conference for everyone to view.

Note that we’ll provide a light continental breakfast on Saturday morning (the 28th). The Hyatt Downtown, where many of you are staying, appears to provide a more substantial meal if you are interested. We’ll also provide lunch on Saturday.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! We look forward to seeing you in Utah!
